There are two new products in the price book for Endpoint Management Products (EPM) called „Extended Patch Management Support, Windows Server 2008 for 2021“ and „Extended Patch Management Support, Windows 7 for 2021„.
These new SKUs enable customers to use an enhanced patch management data feed that includes metadata for extended support updates released by Microsoft in 2021.
One of the SKUs covers the extended support updates for Windows 7 released by Microsoft in 2021 while the other covers support for Windows Server 2008 / 2008R2.
There is a separate charge for Windows 7 extended support and Windows Server 2008/ 2008R2.
The price of the SKU is a flat fee. It is not dependent on the number of Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008/2008R2 devices in the environment.
These extensions are mainly interesting for customer who still have a great number of Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 / 2008R2 devices in their enviroment to manage.
